The church builder interest offset account product is available to personal customers who wish to provide financial assistance for their church’s building activities. CCFS will hold the deposit on Trust on behalf of the depositor, with the depositor retaining ownership and control over their deposit at all times, whilst donating their interest in a tax effective manner.
Who is it for?
Anyone associated with one2one church can open a Church Builder Account.
How does it work?
When applying to open the offset account CCFS will ask you to enter into a trust agreement with CCFS and your church. A trust deed prepared by our solicitors, Moores Legal will be provided for you to sign.
The establishment of the trust enables your deposit to earn interest for the church directly, offsetting an equivalent amount of loan interest.
Calculated daily and credited monthly, a rate equivalent to the loan that the account is being offset against will apply. This amount will be deducted from the church accrued loan interest at the end of each month.
31 days notice is required to be given when withdrawing funds. This allows CCFS to provide appropriate notice to your church and adjust loan payments accordingly. You should also be mindful of any commitment made to your church when you first entered into the arrangement regarding the term of your offset arrangement.
You account can be viewed online through a view-only CCFS Online profile and statements will be posted regularly.
